Acupuncture Therapies.
Acupuncture is a holistic therapy that may involve manual acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and auricular (ear) acupuncture, selected according to individual needs. Fine, sterile needles are used to stimulate specific acupuncture points on the body, face, scalp and ears.
Other therapies used include cupping, gua sha (a scaping procedure to induce circulation) and moxibustion, an anti-inflammatory, heating herb called mugwort.
Treatment plans can include lifestyle and dietary advice, an acupuncture therapy with options of formulated Chinese herbs.
